Lulworth and Durdle Part 2

January 7th, 2014

Here’s the second bunch of photos from Lulworth Cove and Durdle Door, first lot here.

Portsmouth Part 1

October 31st, 2013

Here’s the first lot of photos from my recent trip to the Historic Dockyard in Portsmouth. Lots of black and whitey goodness, all in camera rather than in post.

September 29th, 2013

I’ve posted this before in amongst some other photos, but I just really like this photo I took at Swanage railway station. It’s not perfect, but it’s still effective.

Swanage 3

September 26th, 2013

I can’t really think of anything else to say about these. These are some more photos I took last week in Swanage and Wareham.

Swanage Railway

September 17th, 2013

I had a day off work today (well, yesterday now) which I spent visiting the Swanage Railway with my grandparents. Lots more photos to come soon, here’s a taster.

Edit: Photos are live here, here and here.

Bournemouth 4

Part 4 of my Bournemouth Photo Essay

Sky Lines

April 10th, 2013

Here are a few photos from an evening with a nice sky. Unfortunately I was pretty busy at work, and didn’t get away in time to capture the sunset, but thankfully I was able to capture a little of the aftermath.

Maybe these aren’t technically the best photos in the world, but hey, you’re not paying so I decide what I’m displaying 😉

Fading Light

March 21st, 2013

Some nice colours from the Bournemouth coast in mid March.

Bournemouth 3

March 19th, 2013

Here’s the next installment of photos that I think tell a bit of the story of Bournemouth.

Previous parts here and here.

March 10th, 2013

Last night, as the mist once again descended over Bournemouth, I couldn’t resist taking the camera out for the second night in a row.

Again, there’s not really much explanation needed, except to say that I was very glad it did not rain this time, and also that being out in the misty darkness, taking long exposures, is a lot scarier alone than doing it with others.
